Unprecedented four athletes selected in team

An unprecedented four athletes have been selected to represent Australia at this years upcoming World Championship events.
For three SAJA junior athletes, it is the reward for a year of successful results, on the back of hard training and relentless pursual of improvement.
Leah Uncle (52kg), Courtney Barks (57kg) and Ross Merrett (66kg) have been selected in the team which will compete in the Junior World Championships, to be held in Morocco during October.
The event will be a major stepping stone in their development towards senior international success.
SAJA senior athlete Steve Brown (66kg), will go into the Senior World Championships in Tokyo, Japan as Australia's number 1 ranked 66kg athlete. With over 50% more national ranking points then his next closest rival, Brown is building strong form in his return to elite Judo.
