Christian Burghartswieser
Christian is an Assistant Coach for the South Australian Judo Academy.
His primary role is the development of competition skills of our young promising athletes and coaching athletes on the day of their competition.
Christian is a German trained Judo player who has been in Australia for two years. In Germany he fought in the Bavarian League with his team Tiesendorf.
Christian's European background offers an exciting dynamic to the Acadamies training. His innovative thinking and training methods continue to achieve results.
Christian works hard to create trends rather then follow them. He places an emphasis on perfecting technical movements essential for elite competition.
Christian has also walked the walk. As a competitor in Australia, Christian achieved his career highlight - winning the 2009 Australian National Titles.
